Review by hotel critic
As a marine biologist and scuba instructor from the Bahamas, I appreciate efficiency and comfort when on business trips. Kloof Street Hotel - Lion Roars Hotels & Lodges proved to be a suitable setting for our corporate retreat. The hotel's prime location offered easy access to charming restaurants and shops, allowing for convenient breaks between meetings. The views of Table Mountain added a refreshing backdrop, enhancing focus amidst work demands. The spacious rooms were well-appointed, providing an inviting atmosphere for both relaxation and productivity. I did notice the absence of face cloths, which would be a welcome touch for longer stays. Business amenities, such as the 24-hour business center and strong wi-fi, were essential for seamless remote work. While breakfast was satisfactory, some service inconsistencies were apparent, necessitating occasional reminders to staff. Nevertheless, the team was responsive and friendly, contributing positively to our experience. In summary, Kloof Street Hotel is a commendable option for business travelers seeking convenience and comfort in a vibrant setting. I look forward to returning, as the hotel meets vital needs for both work and leisure during corporate retreats.
